Let The Holiday Feasting Continue . . .

 

Now that I’m slowly coming out of my food coma, I’ll try to put a few thoughts together and get this post written.

So it’s Black Friday and Techtarget’s predicting a good one. In fact, Black Friday sales may be up 6%-8% over 2021.

Keep in mind this is just a prediction. Nothing especially earth-shattering but considering the state of the US inflation, not too shabby. This could all boil down to holiday sales around $942.6 billion, according to the Nation Retail Federation (NRF).

Where Does Your Biz Stand?

Well, if you happen to do business online, this could be a good thing. Some 69% of spenders will shop online. Of course you still have some folks shopping in person (you know going to an actual brick and mortar store).

Let’s Not Forget Cyber Monday

This is the Monday following Thanksgiving and this sales event may also see an increase as well, according to the Drive Research study. It just never ends, does it?

The real point is this:

Know your market. Learn everything you can about your clients and potential prospects. Know where they hang out and what they spend money on. Then, and only then can you be prepared to position your business properly. You’ll know what sales messages get their attention and get them to raise their hands and buy now!

Basic stuff here.

And there’s a ton of “tools” to help you get the job done . . . things like CRM, ad tracking tools for various social media, and let’s not forget using some common sense and your brain to help out.
